“I was born in Canada on an Indian reservation. I’m a gypsy soul but I find life in connecting.” - Christina

—  About

Christina is a photographer born on the plains of Saskatchewan, Canada, living in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

I remember the first photo that captured my imagination. It told a story of love and celebration. It was the story of triumph and overcoming. Who were these people? What were they celebrating? Where were they? When was this? Why was I so interested?

The image is well known and well loved - V-J Day in Times Square by Alfred Eisentaedt. It was taken on V-J Day, August 14, 1945 in Times Square, New York. This was two random strangers, sharing love as they celebrated the end of a war that for many, if not all, had changed an entire generation and the world. This photo is as authentic and real today as it was then.

Capturing the authentic reality of the human story is what inspires me with every moment I photograph. I hope to use my eyes and my lens to tell important stories that speak the narrative of love, service, celebration and the humanity of what draws us together.
